Unger/Morro Bay 3:03:38 .. 28. Velva Hakim 3:04:34. From Chris Connors - ÒIt
was a great run on a clear day after a prior day of rain. There was some
mud but most of the course was in good shape. 37 degrees at the start and 56
degrees by the finish with spectacular ocean views from the peaks and
rollercoaster downhills. My quads are just now getting back to normal after
several days since I had not been running enough to prepare for 23K. I felt
badly for the 50K people out there 6-7 hours.Ó
37K (23 finishers) - 8. Chuck Fiorentino/Arroyo Grande 4:52:42 .. 9. Marian
Fiorentino/A.G. 4:55:17. . . From Chuck & Marian - "We ran and
hiked the 37 km. run with 4100 ft of elevation change. We had a great time and
the PC Trails group was fantastic. The second loop up to and around
Valencia Peak was really a challenge. We enjoyed talking with a very
different running culture than we are used to. Many of these people have done
ultramarathon events around the world and they shared many ideas with us.Ó
