This was the 25th anniversary of this race, rated by ÒMarathon & BeyondÓ as the 7th toughest course in North America. That didnÕt stop Dave Bourne as he finished 44th out of 64 entrants in 5:57. Also participating was Tom Comar of Atascadero, 34th in 5:50 just 19 weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
