This was the 25^th anniversary of this race, rated by “Marathon & Beyond” as the 7^th toughest course in North America. That didn’t stop Dave Bourne as he finished 44^th out of 64 entrants in 5:57. Also participating was Tom Comar of Atascadero, 34^th in 5:50 just 19 weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
