From Giovanna Schaefer - ŅI participated in this half
marathon with my daughter Beth and we finished it together. I was glad she was
there since I was dragging the last two miles from the humidity. Our chip time
was 2:52:28, although the official results show gun time. I was thrilled to see
Christian Hesch of Morro Bay as the top American with only two Kenyans
finishing ahead of him.Ó
