ST. GEORGE, UTAH, OCTOBER 1 - 30TH ANNUAL ST. GEORGE MARATHON (4,591 finishers):

From Marci Mora, Arroyo Grande, ÒI just got back from running the St. George marathon. It was a magical experience. When so much could go wrong on marathon day, for me everything went right. I trained with my friend Elaine Keller who I met last year when we trained with TNT and ran the Nike 26.2 in San Francisco. We trained hard with hopes of qualifying for Boston (we would have to hit 4.00 flat to make it). I exceeded my expectation and ran 3.47.47! ThatÕs eight minutes faster than my previous best which I ran 9 years ago. Elaine fell just short, but will attempt it again next year. Also, my son is running for Cal Poly's cross country team. They are currently ranked 10th in the nation and I will keep you posted on how he is doing.Ó
