CASTRO VALLEY, AUGUST 3 Ð 22ND ANNUAL SKYLINE 50K ENDURANCE RUN: From Dave Bourne -

ÒThis run starts and finishes at the Lake Chabot marina but most of the course is on trails in the East Bay Regional Parks system. The directors revised the course to include more single track trails and ridge running and we passed through forests, canyons, hillside contours, and along the additional ridges. ItÕs very well organized and the volunteers are great! Dennis Rinde, a former San Luis Obispo resident in the early 1980Õs and top ten finisher at Boston, won in 3:40 and Mary Fagan won the womenÕs division in 4:22. I finished in 7:11, about 13 minutes slower than last year but feeling good, and I was the only one from SLO County.Ó
